The members of the Committee to Retain Judge Debbie Ansbro are pleased to have this opportunity to solicit your support, and vote, to retain DEBORAH B. ANSBRO as a County Court Judge for Orange County, Group 15.  Judge Ansbro was appointed to this seat by the Governor of the State of Florida effective May 1, 2006, and will be on the ballot on August 26, 2008, to retain her seat on the bench.

    Prior to her appointment, Judge Ansbro was an active complex commercial trial lawyer, with 18 years of experience in private practice with prominent Central Florida civil law firms. In 2003, she was honored with an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell, and was otherwise highly regarded throughout our legal community. She has consistently been active as a leader in, and supporter of, numerous legal and civic organizations and activities. In 2002 the Orlando Women's Executive Council honored Judge Ansbro by selecting her as the Downtown Orlando Woman of the Year.

    During her years of practice, and since assuming her position on the bench, Judge Ansbro has proven herself to be bright, hard working, diligent, honest, insightful, articulate, decisive and professional.

    Judge Ansbro has extensive support among the Bar, as well as throughout the Orange County community, as evidenced by the persons serving on the Campaign Committee and by the endorsements she has received from organizations including the Orange County Professional Fire Fighters Local 2057, the Orange County Classroom Teachers Association and the Orange Education Support Professionals Association.   We welcome you to join the Committee and enable Judge Ansbro to continue to serve the people of Orange County.
